Make it Simple

Are you ready to reduce the overwhelm around your fitness, nutrition, health, and wellbeing?

To make health feel more doable, simple, and a part of your day to day.

At some point, every single one of my clients has felt overwhelmed around their exercise, nutrition, health and wellbeing.

There is soooo much info out there. So many opinions on what to do and not do. So so many possible and endless choices.

The list of things you have tried that haven’t worked, haven’t stuck…

The new fads and strong opinions that show up on social media that make you question everything, wonder if you are missing something, curious if it could just be easier.

It feels harder and harder to believe you can do it, that something will work, that the change can happen.

It feels harder and harder to believe you can do it,

that something will work,

that the change can happen.

Let’s shift that.

How to make health, fitness, nutrition less overwhelming:

-Start Simple, Small, and Doable

-Lay the groundwork

-Begin with the very first step

-Have a coach, support, team

-Go in with a plan

Start Simple, Small, and Doable:

You do not have to change everything at once.

And if you try to; it likely will feel daunting and hard to stick with!

Long-term and sustainable health is not a quick fix.

It is not a super restrictive or fast diet.

Or a crazy intense workout plan.

You do not have to give up the foods that you love, exercise all the time, or change everything to feel better.

If you want to make that change happen; you have to make it truly feel doable.

Lay the Groundwork:

Take a small moment to think of a task, change, action that you want to do…

What are the steps you would have to take to actually do that?

For example: ‘I want to go swimming once a week’.

This might be finding where close by you could go.

Then setting up a membership or how to visit.

Followed by actually getting yourself in, dressed, and swimming.

Another example: ‘I want to workout at home’.

Lay the groundwork by setting up where that can happen.

Begin with the Very First Step:

When we want to make something happen,

We have to start.

And you start by taking the very first step.

Followed by the next and the next and the next.

Take the thing you want to do and start with the first piece -even the smallest thing.

And start there.

Have a Coach, Support, Community, Team:

The support system that is around you will play a significant role in how your goals go. This can include your friends, family, household, work, a support community, program, health care team, coach, etc. Having others to share in how things are going, to give you that extra accountability and boost, to check in, to work through challenges can make all the difference.

Sometimes you just need someone else to do the research, find the science, break it all down, and give you the plan of what to do.

You need a routine that is built, designed, and adapted for you that you can stick with. That reduces your overwhelm of what to do, how to do it, when, and why. Your coach will turn all of this into the things you actually do, stick with, and become a part of your daily life.

Go in with a Plan:

We are much much more likely to do the thing if we make a plan for when and how it will happen.

Shift I will workout this week to I will workout for 30 minutes on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

Want to add more veggies into your meals? Go in with a plan for how that will happen. How will you add in the veggies? When will you buy them?

Okay, Now what actually makes health, fitness, nutrition, wellbeing simple?

-Move your Body

-Eat nourishing foods

-Prioritize sleep, recovery, and stress management

-Bring Your Mindset on Board to Support yourself.

Yep. Move your body, eat foods that support you, sleep, release stress, and find how your mindset will support you through the journey.

Move your body often and well.

Find the foods that you feel good eating both in enjoyment, nourishment, and quantity.

Manage your stress.

Strengthen your mindset to support you to keep going.

If you want to make anything happen, you have to tell yourself that you can. Find what you fully believe that you can do and start there.

Now, it might be hard to believe you can at first, and it can help to have someone that believes for you while you grow trust in yourself.

Make it simple!

Health can be simple, a part of your everyday, integrated into your lifestyle without extreme effort.

Especially when you have a coach, health team, and system to narrow down all the research, science, opinions, and possibilities into the plan that works and is build for you. While taking into account your values, priorities, and unique lifestyle.

Doable and smaller things done consistently over time make big, powerful change.

Your Coach,

Arina
