Choreographer
As a choreographer, I have been drawn to intimate discovery through movement, movement languages and convesations, and integrated connections. My recent research has been into the rhythmic interactions of movement and the ability for the body to be used as an instrument and soundscape in movement. Most recently my work has been presented at ODC Pilot, SAFEhouse Arts, LEVYdance, and Dance Mission Theatre. In the spring of 2015, I produced an evening length work, Rhythmic Motion, at the Headwaters Company Studio in Missoula, Montana. I am drawn to live performance and am intrigued by the integration of video and projection with live dance.
Rhythmic Motion

Rhythmic Motion was an evening length dance concert, which I choreographed and developed with a group of four dancers as the culminating project for my B.F.A. in Dance from the University of Montana. The concert explored the body as an instrument in movement through body percussion, vocals, and sound scores. It played with the development and manipulation of a movement language and conversation through a variety of mediums. Along with integrating live performance, video dance, projection, and the interaction between them.
